David Gambles writes: It was good to see the Chesterfield crowd at the Metrocentre Rally today, many thanks from the NEBPT for their attendance at the rally.
It was quite a cold day and, as a result, the free bus services were popular, as was the opportunity to go on board Howard Snaith's new tri-axle Volvo B12BT Plaxton Elite which was providing free hot drinks and food for anyone that was interested in boarding the new 14 metre coach. Needless to say it proved quite popular and even took a couple of turns on the free bus service. The second run proved so popular that it had to be accompanied by Snaith's other new Elite based on the 12.6 metre Volvo B9 chassis. So far Snaiths are the only company to run both versions of Plaxton's new flagship coach.
Here's a few pictures for those that weren't able to attend. This is the one rally site that has acres of space so companies are encouraged to bring along a selection of vehicles if they so wish.
