Colin writes: The direct road between Poolsbrook & Duckmanton has been closed for some weeks now. This means that the Stagecoach Route 80 follows the A619 from Staveley to Lowgates, turns up Fan Road, Erin Road to Poolsbrook Crescent from where it returns to Cemetery Lane, Inkersall Road & Tom Lane to Duckmanton, it then reverses its outward route to Poolsbrook and continues its way to Staveley, Brimington, Chesterfield and beyond. We spent a couple of hours this morning walking the diversion, taking the opportunity to photograph the 4 different vehicles on the route in the autumnal rural setting. Also encountered were the 46 & 47 operated by T.M. Travel.
