TRANSPIRE SLIDESHOW 11:
Bristol VR
Tony Wilson says : The flat-front windscreened Bristol VR is a rare beast in this day and age, but we are fortunate to have
two that still provide sterling schools and college service to the north east of Chesterfield. Both vehicles were supplied to Scottish operators in
1969, NGM 168G as BN368 to Central SMT and OSF 306G to Scottish Omnibuses as their AA306. NGM passes through Whitwell, whilst OSF passes Van Dyk's
nurseries and garden centre on the A57 near Clowne, in the company of a later model of the same breed, all now owned and operated by Johnsons Coaches
of Hodthorpe.
