Overseas visitors
Colin Sellers (20 May 2010) saw this in Chesterfield coach station:

Colin Sellers (19 May 2010): comments:
This was photographed outside Chesterfield town hall this evening. The Mercedes Trevago, a model not sold in the UK, had brought a party of French
students to stay in the town. Notice the town hall can be used as a pick-up /drop off point, all that you need is a left hand drive vehicle!

TM Travel update
Managing Director Paul Hopkinson writes (18 May 2010):
New arrival from Kinchbus this week is 899 (P411 BNR). We collected it from Langley Mill yesterday.
Two more are to join us at Halfway, I have yet to see the other ones at Kinchbus before I pick which two I want.
899 is now in the paint shop as 938 (S938 UAL) nears completion.
Fire damaged Centro YJ07 JVC is expected back at Halfway soon for component recovery, after which the vehicle will be scrapped.

News on former Hulley 18
Ian Moorcroft writes (7 May 2010):
Hulley's Dennis Lance / Plaxton Verde 18 (P659 BUB) was sold to OGDENS TRAVEL of ST HELENS where it is used for schools in a red and white
livery applied in Hulleys style (red replacing the blue and white the cream).
According to one of their drivers I spoke to today it is quite a popular bus, most of Hulleys drivers disliked it.

End of April sightings
Jamie McGee took this in the yard of Redfern of Mansfield (30 April 2010) [Sorry for previously
giving the wrong location]:

Ian Moorcroft took these photographs on 30 April 2010. He writes:
TM Travel were down to their last Excel but have now added 2 more from parent Trent Barton in the form of 215 still operating in green
Cotgrave Connection livery and 214 which has been smartly painted in fleet livery as shown here in a very wet Bakewell.
I doubt you'll find a smarter H registered Olympian than this Redfern Travel example seen laying over between schools in Chesterfield.

Martin Arrand took these photographs on 30 April 2010.
A decker on the D5! Are passenger loadings so good? (This is a Veolia Friday only shopping journey, presumably between school runs, from Nottingham to
Chesterfield. Perhaps the school run requires a double decker. We will have to see what is allocated next Friday.)
Perhaps the Stagecoach Volvo B10M training bus was bringing new timetables from Barnsley (minor timetable revisions from 4 May).

Colin Sellers took this photograph on 30 April 2010. He writes:
We walked to TM Travel's former premises at Fan Road, Staveley this morning for a shot of it's final day.
